DAY 7
Did you know joy is your right as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ? But the enemy wants you to feel beat-up and condemned for things you have done in the past. He wants to rob you of your God-given right to joy. We all have to hide in the wounds of Calvary. We have all fallen short of the standard. We have ALL rebelled against God’s authority over our life. But we are also blessed because our sins have been forgiven.
A lot of Christians don’t understand the power of God’s grace. They are forgiven and they are on their way to heaven, but they think they have to pay for what they did by being sad and beating up on themselves when nothing could be further from the truth. Grace wins! But until you acknowledge and accept that, you will allow the enemy to steal your joy.
Read all of Psalm 32 and Psalm 51. Remember to take note of anything that stands out to you as you read.
YOUR TURN
Where would you rate your joy on a scale between 1 and 10, with 1 being completely nonexistent and 10 being as good as it can possibly be?
What would it take to move that score closer to a 10?
FINAL THOUGHTS
If you are not full of joy, then you are not full of the Word of God. He wants you to have joy, whether you believe you deserve it or not. Psalm 16:11 says, “In His presence is fullness of joy!”
FASTING TIP OF THE DAY
You are now finishing your first full week on the fast. Take a moment and reflect on your first week on the fast. Remember the theme “Return to Me” and think what that theme has meant for you personally. Take your time with this to reflect on all you have experienced this first full week. If you keep a journal, you may want to record your reflections.

¿Sabías que el gozo es tu derecho como creyente y seguidor de Jesucristo? Pero el enemigo quiere que te sientas golpeado y condenado por cosas que has hecho en el pasado. Quiere robarte el derecho al gozo que Dios te ha otorgado. Todos tenemos que escondernos en las heridas del Calvario. Todos hemos estado por debajo del estándar. TODOS nos hemos rebelado contra la autoridad de Dios sobre nuestra vida. Pero también somos bendecidos porque nuestros pecados han sido perdonados.
Muchos cristianos no comprenden el poder de la gracia de Dios. Son perdonados y van camino aal cielo, pero piensan que tienen que pagar por lo que hicieron estando tristes y golpeándose a sí mismos cuando nada podría estar más lejos de la verdad. ¡Grace gana! Pero hasta que no reconozcas y aceptes eso, permitirás que el enemigo te robe tu alegría.
Lee todo el Salmo 32 y el Salmo 51. Recuerda tomar nota de todo lo que te llame la atención mientras lees.

PENSAMIENTOS FINALES
Si no estás lleno de gozo, entonces no estás lleno de la Palabra de Dios. Él quiere que tengas alegría, creas que la mereces o no. Salmo 16:11 dice: “¡En su presencia hay plenitud de gozo!”
CONSEJO DE AYUNO DEL DÍA
Ahora estás terminando tu primera semana completa de ayuno. Toma un momento y reflexiona sobre tu primera semana de ayuno. Recuerda el tema “Vuelve a Mí” y piensa en lo que ese tema ha significado para ti personalmente. Toma tu tiempo para reflexionar sobre todo lo que has experimentado esta primera semana completa. Si lleva un diario, es posible que desees registrar tus reflexiones.
